A broom truck is a self-propelled street sweeper equipped with large rotating mechanical brooms that dislodge and push debris into a built-in hopper. How It Works
Rotating gutter brooms work the edges while a main broom sweeps material toward the center pickup. The debris is carried into a hopper, keeping the material contained rather than airborne.
